PLAYER START CRYPT
This was the player’s starting area immediately after character creation, serving as their first introduction to the game world. I was responsible for designing and building the entire space, including modeling the room, creating assets, texturing, and lighting.
The goal was to craft an environment that felt both immersive and purposeful—welcoming new players while reinforcing the game's lore and setting. Every asset was carefully designed to establish the right atmosphere, guiding players naturally toward their next steps.
The lighting was carefully balanced to highlight focal points and create a sense of depth, helping to direct the player's attention and enhance the overall mood of the space.
This area was more than just a starting point; it was the first impression players had of the world and art style, setting the stage for their journey ahead.
